It's Halloween time, and the ghosts and ghouls are coming out to play.
A portal to the mysterious Halloween Town has appeared, and is letting pirates come in if they dare.

[DURATION]
-The map will be available from October 15th, 2018 - November 11th, 2018

[OPENING TIMES]
-The map opens every [13 hours]
-The portal stays open for [12 hours]

[ENTRANCE]
-The portal can be found at (2252,2685) Argent City


Inside Halloween Town, you will see a bunch of mobs. These mobs drop a Halloween Event Card. On Halloween day, you will be able to exchange them to the npc for a certain amount of Halloween Goodies! There is also a certain chance to obtain an Evil Pumpkin Head Carving.

[BOSS]
-Halloween King [Re-spawns every 4 hours]
-Located at (138, 281)
-At [50% HP] will summon Halloween Phantom
-At [20% HP] will summon Halloween Dragon

[MINI BOSS]
-Halloween Horror [Spawns every 3 hours]
-Located at (138, 281)


There are a few new IGS Quests that players may obtain.


Note¹: All quests only last until November 1st
Note²: This means that you must enter a map 1 time per opening. Ex: Halloween Town opens every 13 hours. You must enter once per 13 hours.
A brand new PK mode has been added to Dream Island! During this time, you'll see "land spots" shown on the map.

Note¹: Only 1 "land spot" will be active at a time. The land spot is chosen at random at the start of the map.

[OPENING TIMES]

[THE BATTLE]

You'll need to enter the portal when the map opens

Note¹: If you are already inside of Dream Island when King of the Hill starts, you will automatically be teleport-ed into the map.

You'll be teleport-ed to 1 of 3 different KOTH maps. The location of the land is the only thing that differs between them.

Once you find a land spot, a count down will begin in order for you to claim the land and become king. The first person to claim will become king.

The king will have the following stats applied
+250% Attack buff
+150% Hit Rate buff
+250% Max HP buff
-99% Defense debuff
-60% Dodge debuff

[BATTLE DYNAMICS]

-The king will gain +20 points every 20 seconds, while they are near the land spot
-Everybody else will be able to plunder between +1-5 points every 7 seconds from the land spot
-Each land spot has a maximum of 400 points. When you plunder, the land points decrease.
-Once a land spot has reached 0 points, the king will change since they could not protect it
-Each legitimate kill will net you +8 points
-Killing the king will give you an additional +12 points
-You must always be obtaining points, either by killing or plundering.
-Being inactive (i.e not gaining points) in the map for a certain amount of time will decay your points


You can use the command /koth to see the rankings and your points

[REWARDS]

Players will be rewarded near the end of the map based on how many points you obtained.
For every 10 points you have, you'll get 1 Heavenly Chest as well as the following additional rewards.

[REQUIREMENTS]

-Account has not logged in within 90 days of the current server date
-Character is Lv45, 55 or 135 and higher

[HOW IT WORKS]

-Log into the game with any account and character that meets the requirements and you'll automatically be enrolled


You'll be instantly given a Welcome Back chest and a Welcome Back quest

Visit Newbie Guide - Senna to complete the quest. Read through the quest details for information on what you'll obtain

She will give you the Welcome Back key to unlock the chest.

Double click the chest to open it along with the key.

+You'll get an Awakening Pack that contains the Traits for your class and some Augment Increases!

+You'll get a Heavenly Pack that contains some Heavenly Gems to help grow your character even stronger!

+You'll get a Raid/Wyvern Pack that contains a few Raid/Wyvern shards to help you get their respective equipment

+You'll get a PK Pack that contains some manu items, potions, billion notes, and EXP Scrolls to help you level up!

+You'll finally get a Returner necklace


Bonus effect of the necklace is a +10% HP


Introducing the newest gems, the only ones of their kind! Heavenly gems are the very first dual stat gems!

[HOW TO OBTAIN?]

You can win from King of the Hill, or you can farm them from the Black Dragon Mobs in Kyjj 2 or 3

[WHERE TO FORGE?]

The areas of forging are the same as their Unique Gem (+5 gem) counter parts

#1 - Removed Buff Note NPC

Buff notes were something that you would always have no matter what. Since they were so common, we have removed the method of obtaining buffnotes and added a command for them instead.

Use command /buffnote or /bn

We've also changed the effects that buffs show.

Note¹: All existing buff notes will still work

#2 - Removed Sand Bag NPC

Sandbags are always available inside of Hell House and Hell Chapter, so the NPC was a bit redundant.

#3 - Modified the storage method of FC/DS points

We just changed how they were stored on our server so they can be more efficient. No points were lost during this conversion.

We have also removed the system notice that let you know your FC/DS points.
We have added the commands /fc and /ds instead

#4 - Fixed Ascendancy Guide NPC

The NPC previously did not let the player know that they needed to have the Emblems in their inventory to exchange.

#5 - Added Augment Enchantments to Monthly CA Prizes

Note¹: The updated rewards will take place in new chests only. Existing ones will have the same rewards.

#6 - Added Heavenly Gems to Monthly CA Prizes

Most of the base stat boosting gems have had their icons changed to show their progression. Starting from Broken gems to Great, Azrael gems and finally the latest Heavenly gems.

#9 - Added PK Mode

You're now free to PK anybody you want inside of Argent, Shaitain, or Icicle, provided that you both have PK mode on.

/pkon - To turn PK mode on
/pkoff - To turn PK mode off
Note¹: You cannot PK in safe zones with this
